PAYMENT METHOD

SHIPPING

UK shipping includes the Highlands and Islands, Scilly Isles and the Isle of Man​

Most orders are dispatched the next working day, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays & weekends). Some orders may take longer to prepare but you will be notified by email in this instance. A dispatch email is issued, including parcel reference number if applicable, as soon as your parcel is on its way.

  • FREE standard delivery on orders of £40 or more (after promo/discount code applied).

  • Standard £4.50 (3-4 days)

  • 1st class £5.50 (1-2 days)

  • Guaranteed/Express £11.50 (1 day Mon-Fri)

​​Guaranteed/Express: To guarantee next day delivery, your order & payment must be received before 12 midday Monday to Thursday. Orders received after midday may only be dispatched the next working day. For example, an order received after midday on a Thursday will be dispatched on the Friday and delivered on the Monday (excludes bank holidays & weekends).

 

Guaranteed Saturday Delivery

An additional postage fee is required for this service. Your order must be received before 12 midday on Friday.

  1. Order from the website in the usual manner, and choose the Guaranteed/Express shipping option at £11.50.

  2. Complete the 'Add a note' box at checkout confirming that you require Saturday delivery.

  3. Pay your order.

  4. The additional postage fee will be invoiced separately (it could range anywhere from £5 - £20 depending on size & weight of the parcel).*

  5. Once both invoices have been paid in full, your parcel will be dispatched (excludes bank holidays and/or weekends).

*If you'd like confirmation of the additional postage price before making your order, please drop me a line at info@greenplanetcandles.co.uk stating which items you'd like to purchase so an accurate price can be quoted.

NOT AT HOME?

If you are not at home when delivery is attempted, the delivery provider should leave a calling card so please make alternative delivery arrangements directly with them. If your parcel is returned to Green Planet Candle Co because of your failure to collect it within the time specified, you are responsible for paying any additional postage costs incurred.

IMPORTANT - Goods will not be shipped until payment has been approved/authorised by your payment provider. Any delays in authorising payment will affect the estimated delivery time. It's also imperative that you provide the correct delivery address as it cannot be changed once your order is placed and/or dispatched. 

ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS THAT MAY AFFECT WAX 

Green Planet Candle Co uses plant-based wax that has a melt point of around 40 Degrees Celsius. It is therefore not recommended that candles are dispatched during extremely hot/humid weather conditions. This would be a rare occurrence in the UK but as climate conditions change, it's worth bearing in mind. Wax melts have a higher melt point of around 50 Degrees Celsius so are less likely to be problematic. In order to reduce the possibility of candles being adversely affected during extreme weather conditions you will be contacted via e-mail to discuss the options available. The aim will be to avoid your goods being left to stand for long periods in particularly hot places such as delivery depots or delivery vans - there is no guarantee of this of course but if you have any concerns or requests before making your order, please contact info@greenplanetcandles.co.uk ​

The following payment methods are accepted:

  • PayPal (you do not need a PayPal account to pay by this method)

  • PayPal Pay in 3*

  • Credit/Debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Diners, Discover, Visa-Electron, Maestro

  • Apple Pay (currently only available to customers using Safari on iOS 11, MAC-OS Sierra, or higher).

 

Discount or promo codes cannot be utilised after an order has been completed and/or payment has been processed.

Available on purchases of £30 or more. Make one payment today, then pay the rest in two interest-free monthly payments.**

Just choose to pay with PayPal, log into your PayPal account and, if it is an eligible transaction, you’ll see PayPal Pay in 3 as one of the available payment methods. After selecting it, you can apply for a PayPal Pay in 3 plan in a few simple steps, get an instant decision and finish checking out.

  1. Click the yellow PayPal button. 

  2. Choose "Pay in 3" and complete your purchase.

  3. Make the first payment now and the balance to be paid in two payments each month on the same date.

**Pay in 3 eligibility is subject to status and approval. It is arranged directly with PayPal, NOT with Green Planet Candle Co. Pay in 3 is a form of credit, may not be suitable for everyone and use may affect your credit score. See PayPal's product terms for more details.

RETURNS & EXCHANGE

If you are not entirely happy with your purchase then you can return it, unused, in re-saleable condition and complete (ie. including Kraft box/linen drawstring bag if applicable). The refund policy excludes sale items, gift vouchers and subscriptions.

Your cancellation rights

In order to comply with Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (CCR) you must notify Green Planet Candle Co of your intention to return goods within 14 days following receipt of your order. You then have a further 14 days to return your merchandise.

 

It is strongly recommended that you obtain insurance for your returned merchandise as Green Planet Candle Co. will not refund items that are lost or damaged in transit. You should also obtain a free certificate of posting or receipt from your delivery provider.

You are responsible for paying the return postage costs unless there was an error made by Green Planet Candle Co. on your order or the item/s received were damaged in transit. Photo-evidence will be required in this instance.

Your rights if there is a problem with a product 
In addition to the rights described above (and in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015), if the goods you receive are damaged or faulty, or not what you originally ordered you will receive a full refund. Please notify by email as soon as possible to info@greenplanetcandles.co.uk

 

Complete the Returns/Exchange Form and enclose it in your return parcel.

Processing your refund

Upon safe receipt of the parcel your refund will be processed via the original payment method. Please allow 5-10 working days for the refund to reach your account. Return postage costs will only be refunded if there was an error made by Green Planet Candle Co. on your order or if the item/s received were received damaged.

Sale Items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Exchanges (if applicable)
I am happy to exchange on items that haven't been used or damaged and can be returned complete and in re-saleable condition (this includes items purchased with a gift voucher). If you receive goods that are damaged or you wish to exchange, please let me know within 3 days of receipt of your goods. Photo-evidence is required via e-mail if items are damaged. I will replace your order free of charge in this instance.

Please complete the Returns/Exchange Form confirming your order number and reason for return or exchange. If the item is no longer available, it can be replaced with a similar product OR a refund will be issued. Please note that cash refunds are not issued for items purchased with gift vouchers although I will be happy to exchange providing the item returned is not damaged or used.
